Abstract
The article discusses the crisis situation in sociology and, in this regard, presents ideas aimed at building a methodological concept of sociality. It is noted that the crisis in sociology is caused by the transition of sociologists to theaccess to interdisciplinary research. It turned out that such an interdisciplinary turn is not safe for sociology as a scientific discipline, primarily in terms of understanding the subject and the integrity of the studied reality. Joining the crisis assessment of sociology, the author positions himself as a methodologist and cultural critic, setting the task to implement cultural-historical and phenomenological approaches in the social sciences. In this regard, the methodological, cultural-historical and phenomenological features of the study of sociality are characterized. They are compared with the sociological ones. In the sociological approach, four characteristics are distinguished:: 1) an assessment of sociality, which is usually present in all sociological studies, as well as an indication of the type of social action aimed at changing or optimizing sociality; 2) a description of mass behavior of people and the social order that determines this behavior (at one pole, society and social institutions are considered, at the other – groups); 3) an attitude to the study of sociality and the description of " social nature»; 4) consideration of sociality only as a phenomenon of modern culture (this approach is opposed to the cultural and historical interpretation of sociality). The author agrees with these characteristics, but believes that they need to be problematized, which he does, discussing, for example, the current understanding of the concept of justice and social nature (sociality is not equal to itself, it is a cultural and historical phenomenon, the contribution to it is made by a person). In conclusion, the author outlines the stages of research and construction of the methodological concept of sociality. Since problematization and situational analysis, the author believes, have already been carried out, the next step is the cultural and historical reconstruction of the main types of sociality (we are talking only about European culture).
