Аннотация
Очерчиваются основные вехи истории исследований социальных сетей. Рассмотрены взгляды тех ученых, которые считаются основоположниками вэтой области, задавали используемый в ней терминологический аппарат: П. Лазарсфельда, Дж. Морено, Дж. Хоманса, Ф Хейдера, А. Бейвласа, Дж. Коулмена, С. Милграма, Р. Берта, М. Грановеттера, Д. Уайта и др. Обобщаются задачи, встающие перед исследователями сетей сегодня.
