Abstract
The monograph examines the development of American foreign policy thinking after the end of the cold war. The approaches of the American ruling circles to the relations with the Russian Federation had been considered in in detail. The causes of the growing difficulties and contradictions in these relations were reviewed thoroughly. Conclusions are made about the conditions of normalization of Russian-American relations.
