- Abstract
The article introduces a special theme of the issue on the interconnections between social and philosophical anthropology, as well as social anthropology and philosophy more generally. The author examines how references to philosophical anthropology are used for marketing educational programs and textbooks, and promoting scholars. A broad range of related issues is discussed in contributions by T. Shchyttsova, E. Miskova, A. Menshikov, and E. Trubina.
