Abstract
South Asians constitute signifi cant minority population in England. They are concentrated in Greater London, but their numbers are also signifi cant in the Black County (Greater Birmingham). University town of London has both blue-collar workers and petty traders of South Asian origin as well as Indian and Pakistani professors and students. In the three examined cities, Muslim, Hindu, and Sikh communities are the largest ones.
