American-Swiss relations, for various reasons, continue to be on the periphery of the study of the contacts of the United States of America with European countries. Given that, the formulation of the subject of the article itself already constitutes a research novelty, and the attempt to identify patterns in cooperation between the two countries significantly increases the scientific significance of the work done. The article deals with some important, in the opinion of its author, subjects, the consideration of which is due to the chronology of processes and the fact that only in the 1960s. Switzerland has achieved a relatively acceptable level of bilateral relations. The conclusions of the article can be useful both in terms of deepening knowledge about the cold war period and in the context of using the Swiss experience in building an effective model of cooperation in the modern world in the post-trump period for other European countries.
