Abstract
The international anti-terrorist exercises «Defenders of friendship-2016» with the participation of soldiers of the Russian Airborne Troops (VDV) and Airborne troops of Egypt went from 15 to 26 October in the region of Alexandria, Egypt. During the maneuvers, paratroopers of the two countries worked out joint actions to locate and destroy illegal armed formations in a desert environment.
