Abstract
Inter-personal communication via Internet is considered in the perspective of phenomenological sociology. From this point of view the primary characteristics of such a communication are erosion of the "common space" and "common time" of the participants and "incomplete presence" of the participant, that is replacement of a person by some his/her part or aspect in the communication. The participants lose their personalities, lose their human appearance for their partners. Some effects of giving up live communication are considered as well as some mechanisms to compensate those effects.
