Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of combining professional and maternal responsibilities of modern urban women on the example of female residentsThe article provides an overview of statistical information that records an increase in the average age of women in labor, describes the results of a representative survey of 1,250 women with preschool children, which recorded a wide prevalence of combining work with maternal care as a consciouslychosen life position.
