Abstract

The range of social and humanitarian Sciences that focus on culture and the processes of its social determinism has significantly expanded. Neglect or refusal to analyze the ontological characteristics of cultural development often leads the sociologist to hasty and insufficiently reasoned conclusions. The articlereveals possible contradictions that arise in this direction, and some ways to overcome them.
