Abstract
Institutional theory of anomie (ITA) – theoretical basis explanations of crime in the situation of dominance of certain social groups institutions (economy, political system – to the detriment of the institutions of the family, school, peer groups). ITA verification should BE based on data in addition to statisticsquantitative surveys. Due to accessibility, students are larger than other groups they are suitable for such research. ITA verification is possible on the material of companies with a similar institutional structure and differences in the speed of public changes (East and West Germany) and societies with rapid changes and differences in institutional structure (East Germany and Russia). The concept of empirical research of institutional theory is presented anomalies.
