- Эмоциональная мимика является одним из основных способов невербальной коммуникации человека. При этом эмоции транслируются через мимические выражения как осознанным, так и сознательно неконтролируемым путем. Микромимика и фоновые мимические экспрессии низкой интенсивности как раз являются выражениями лица, слабо поддающимися сознательному контролю. Согласно множеству исследований микромимику можно рассматривать как ключ к истинным чувствам человека. Однако в силу своей мимолетности и слабой выраженности микроэкспрессия очень сложно уловима невооруженным глазом. В настоящей работе представлен обзор научных знаний о микромимике человека, начиная с ее открытия до современного уровня развития. Авторы рассматривают историю исследования вопроса, подробно описывают разработки, имеющиеся в этой области на сегодняшний день. В обзоре рассмотрены ограничения, с которыми сталкивается научное познание микроэкспрессий, а также представлены идеи о перспективах дальнейшего изучения микромимики с учетом кросс-культурных подходов.
