- Abstract
- The article reflects and responds to the special theme of the Etnograficheskoe obozrenie issue (№ 3, 2010) - «Our Ethnographer in the Russian Sacred Field» - and comments on criticisms directed toward herself and other ethnographers engaged in fieldwork. She further comments on the lack of any serious or novel suggestions concerning fieldwork methods and techniques in the thematic selection of the issue.
