Abstract
The article discusses the local ethnic tradition related to the reverence of the St. Paraskeva-Friday icon among the Udor a Komi. The focus of attention is the dynamics of the traditional Christian rites timed to the Ninth Friday after Easter in villages on the Vashka river.
