Abstract

The article is dedicated to the analysis of the management and personnel policies reforms within the U.S. Defense Department that were triggered by major qualitative changes in the U.S. political-military strategy after the end of the Cold War. It covers structural and functional shifts in key administrative bodies of the DoD and U.S. armed forces, as well as their efficiency assessment.
