Abstract
The subject of the research is cross – cultural interactions in the segment of highly qualified labor in the Russian economy. The analysis of mutual assessments of Russian and foreign professionals working in multinational labor collectives, business qualities of each other and cross-cultural borrowings occurring in the course of joint work is carried out. The article describes the local and universal features of the labor culture of Russian professionals, its openness to changes, and its potential to influence other culture. At the same time, the opinions of foreigners working in Russia are analyzed in comparison with the characteristics of the Russian economic culture attributed to it in different periods and at different stages of the development of Russian society. This allows us to outline a set of characteristics of the Russian economic culture that is close to invariant – a kind of its “non-modernized" core.
