Abstract
The «Chilean revolution» (1970—1973), the counter-revolutionary coup of 1973, the establishment of the repressive military regime of Augusto Pinochet changed the whole political configuration in Chile at the end of the 20th century, interrupting the historical political, republican tradition. Those changes affected not only the left politics, but also the right-conservative flank. The last third of the XX century was the period of formation of the «new right» in Chile. The neoliberalism and the principles of subsidiarity of State put into practice laid a solid base for the country’s stable political and socio-economic development in the XXI century. This text is devoted to the formation of the ideological and political bases of the modern Chilean right during the military dictatorship of A.Pinochet.
