Аннотация
Эта статья посвящена архитектурному стилю, появившемуся в Болгарии и получившему в среде специалистов название "бандитское барокко". Рождение этого стиля связывается с общим упадком авторитета интеллектуальных элит и, в частности, архитекторов и специалистов по городскому планированию и утратой ими статуса арбитров "хорошего вкуса". В названии стиля выражена общественная обеспокоенность ростом влияния криминальных структур и недовольство ходом урбанизации в Болгарии после 1989 г. Отношение болгарского общества к "бандитскому барокко" представляет один из аспектов его обеспокоенности своей неспособностью достичь западноевропейских стандартов политического и экономического развития.
